GCSA Annual Programs

Our Programs:

  • Spring Skills Camp: A two-weekend camp focused on improving soccer skills, with fun drills and personalized coaching.

  • Fall Soccer Season: A full season of Saturday games and weeknight practices, offering a chance to experience team soccer and develop skills.

Scholarship Opportunity: Every Kid Sports

Parents – there’s a great opportunity available through Every Kid Sports, a national nonprofit helping low-income families pay youth sports registration fees.


Who Can Apply:

  • Kids ages 4–18

  • Enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC

  • Participating in a recreational (not travel) sports league

  • Season must last at least 4 weeks
    (GCSA qualifies!)


Application Tips:

  • Fall applications opened June 23, 2025

  • Only a limited number of applications are accepted each day, so apply early in the morning

  • If you don’t get in on the first try, keep trying! Some families have been approved even after their season started


What Parents Need to Apply:

  • A document showing your child is receiving Medicaid, SNAP, or WIC

    • Must include:

      • The child’s name

      • The program name

      • A date within the last 12 months

  • Screenshots or photos of a benefit portal or enrollment/re-enrollment letter are acceptable

  • Physical benefit cards are NOT accepted (they don’t show recent enrollment dates)
